The On-the-Job Training (OJT) program assists an employer with the cost of hiring, training and retaining a new employee who does not possess all the skills needed to effectively perform the duties of the position.
Meet minimum skills requirement from the job order. Qualified candidates referred to employers. Employers choose who to interview and ultimately hire. OJT will be for 90 days and will lead to full time employment after the training.
Pair up with an employer that will provide an opportunity to gain experience and skills enhancement while earning a wage.
